At Jenny’s Early Learning Centre, we believe in fostering creativity, curiosity, and meaningful community connections. That’s why we’re excited to announce our new partnership with Geelong Gallery in 2025, supporting two incredible programs: Gallery Tots and the Who’s Who Portrait Exhibition!

Bringing Art to Life with Gallery Tots

Creativity begins in childhood, and Gallery Tots is a perfect program to nurture this from the earliest years. This free initiative for children aged 18 months to 5 years introduces little ones to the wonders of storytelling, play-based learning, and hands-on artmaking—all inspired by works in the Gallery’s collection.

Through interactive experiences, children will explore different artistic themes, textures, and techniques, building confidence and developing a love for self-expression. Our partnership will help make this program even more accessible to young families, ensuring more children can benefit from the power of art.

Celebrating Young Artists in the Who’s Who Portrait Exhibition

Portraiture is a powerful way for children to explore identity, family, and friendships. As a key partner in the Who’s Who Portrait Exhibition, we are thrilled to support this special showcase of portraits created by young artists across Geelong.

Featuring artwork from kindergarten to grade 6 students, the exhibition highlights the creativity and unique perspectives of local children, celebrating their interpretations of the people who inspire them. On display at venues across Geelong and the region, it’s a fantastic opportunity for young artists to see their work displayed by a professional gallery, fostering confidence and a sense of pride in their artistic achievements.

Why This Partnership Matters

At Jenny’s Early Learning, we understand that the arts play a vital role in early childhood development. From developing fine motor skills to boosting emotional intelligence, creative expression supports learning in so many ways. By partnering with Geelong Gallery, we’re helping to make art more accessible, engaging, and meaningful for the children and families in our community.

We’re incredibly proud to support these programs and can’t wait to see the incredible artwork from young minds across Geelong. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting partnership—and be sure to visit the Who’s Who Portrait Exhibition to celebrate the next generation of artists!
